The secrets of Modi's lies...

The secrets of Narendra Modi's lies

Narendra Modi, while replying to the debate on the Motion of Thanks to the President's address in the Lok Sabha in the ongoing budget session of the Parliament, launched a vile attack on the Congress which in fact is out of power since last 8 years. He blamed Congress for spreading Covid-19 by instigating migrant workers to leave cities, by providing them free rail tickets and by helping them reach their destinations during the first wave of the pandemic knowing the fact that  the Railways is the Central government department.

It is noteworthy that Modi made this allegation despite having proofs of several tweets, video clips and
hoardings in which Railway Minister Piyush Goyal took the credit for delivering passengers to their homes. Modi has incessantly made false allegations and lied outrightly not only in his campaign meetings but also in Parliament and he will continue to do so. It is because whether it is Parliament or campaign meeting, Modi is always in the role of a election campaigner.
His habit of telling outrageous lies even in Parliament is now well-known because even in Parliament, Modi is always on election campaign mode. We must expose his lies ,but
he is completely unscrupulous in his politics and that has become an integral part of his personality.

Modi's image as a political leader is that of an anti-establishment leader. He still tries to convey that  Congress is in power. He still considers himself powerless and always believes that the main problem facing him is the Indian democratic system.

Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat for 12 years but even during the Vajpayee government he was against the central government.  It was quite normal of his being against of the UPA government and Dr. Manmohan Singh. It is his nature to blame others for his own failures.

Modi does not seem to be worried about how history will remember him in future. Modi or Shah appear  very different from the leaders in today’s Indian polity. Both of them never care for the serious allegations of lying blatantly. They believe in power and never bother to  engage in unethical practices.
Modi is convinced that he can win  election by telling lies and he has proven that often. He doesn’t care of his image as long as he gains or snatches the power.
Some of the leaders or activists working in the social/ political sector are worried about their image and also about how they will be perceived in the future. There are leaders who acknowledge that they have a lofty role to play in guiding the countrymen. These leaders are considered as the statesmen.

There are some opportunist leaders who can switch their ideologies for the immediate perks they may get. There are some who claim to be neutral in the society. They make sure that their inclinations remain unexposed and thereby they avoid to be seen as one-sided.
Criticism of a specific party may dent their neutral image, so they never fail to appear balanced criticising the other party.

For Modi, immediate gain is the biggest goal. For that purpose to achieve, PR agencies have to be hired, huge amount of money has to be spent on advertisements and the media has to be controlled to enhance his image which constantly gets deteriorated. Sometimes he has to wear a monogrammed suit. He goes to religious places and wear eerie clothes. He deploys the national bird, the peacock, for his image conservation.

In a bid to prove that he is close to the international leaders, he bear hugs them or addresses them by their first names. Sometimes he has to wash the feet of the sanitation workers and has to have a meal together. Despite all the PR, ultimately he has to descend to his every time new low to seek sympathy by saying that his life is in danger.
Modi says something like this in the face of every election. No wonder his statement ‘my life is in danger’ has come when there are elections in five states very soon.
During the Gujarat elections, Modi accused former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh for conspiring with Pakistan to kill him. This statement was a shameless lie. Because in connection with that allegation, no case has been registered against Dr. Manmohan Singh and no inquiry has been set up to investigate the matter. Modi never spoke on these allegations again because he had acquired the immediate gain.
In 2018 during a ralley in Bidar; Karnataka, Modi accused that Nehru affronted Field Marshal Kariappa. Until this allegation was refuted, Modi had achieved what he wanted.

When Modi was appointed as the chief campaigner, he had falsely accused Nehru of not being present at Sardar Patel's funeral. Modi became the Prime Minister till this allegation was proved to be false. It’s a matter of wonder to know who had apologized for the lies of the man sitting as the Prime Minister? Interviewer of Bhaskar News Group who interviewed Modi had to apologise.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee resigned 13 days after taking oath for the first time as Prime Minister failing to get a majority. A few years later, his government fell by a single vote. By this behavior, Vajpayee tried to keep his image clean by announcing that he is against the horse trading of the MPs. Of course, Vajpayee's image is not the subject of this article. But after that, in the meditation camp held by the RSS, there happened a lot of brain storming.

Some of the RSS people alleged  that Vajpayee did not buy MPs to protect his image and only to avoid getting accused of being corrupt.  Modi-Shah and his supporters were in the forefront. ‘It is always in the interest of the party to stay in power come what may’ was and still is the ideology of these people. Modi is the evil offspring of this ideology.

He remains placid and gives a damn to what people think about his lies, his brutal thought process and his unwavering prop up to cruelty. ‘I am pro-Hindutva, anti-Muslim and this is the  biggest virtue I behold in service of my country,’ this is the core of the thinking of Modi and his supporters. The megalomaniac in his attempt to  achieve his goals, Modi has distorted all the virtues of human nature, worshipped falsehood and glorified uncouths.

Therefore, all the followers of Modi are seen imitating the same attitude at their respective rank and file.
Leaders like Modi, who appropriate and promote lies, violence and hatred for short-term gain, are emerging in every caste, religion, region and language in India. This is a threat to Indian unity, solidarity and integrity.

Such Modis from every caste, creed, state and region should recognize this threat.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is in a constitutional position as the Prime Minister and as he loves calling himself as Pradhansevak, should recognize the peril and rectify this with priority. That is all which we  expect from a prudent Pradhansevak, today.
